Bedford Library extension
An extension to the Bedford Library is planned which will allow
the three current library collections to be consolidated on
one site. It is anticipated that the costs involved in this
project will be met via fund-raising.
Refurbishment of Highfield Residences
The Colleges 12-year cyclical refurbishment program is continuing
with the refurbishment of Highfield Court residences. The work
took place in summer 2007 and is ready for the start of session
2007.
The contractors have updated the Highfield residences to a
similar design and quality as Runnymede I and Gowar & Wedderburn
halls.
Boiler House renovation
This will provide dressing rooms, general improvements and
essential facilities for use as a drama and creative arts space.
It will also meet application needs for a public performance
licence.
Car parks affected by campus developments:
Due to construction of the new halls, car park 6 will not be
available until October 2007.
